Lake Orion, MI – Sensor Developments is pleased to announce a new line of wheel torque sensors including wireless signal transmission of both speed and temperature. With the use of our digital FM telemetry system, we eliminate the need for slip rings or rotary transformers to transfer the rotating signals. The user can achieve complete installation without rim modifications or the need for anti-rotation brackets. All signals are represented as high-level analog outputs from the remote receiver and are fully compatible with commercial DAQ systems.

The system includes a torque sensor, vehicle adapter plates for direct attachment to the axle hub, transmitter housing with power and shunt calibration switch, and our digital FM telemetry system.

System Features Include:

• Non-contact signal transmission (all channels).

• High level analog outputs for torque, speed, and temperature (2 temp channels).

• High extraneous load carrying capabilities.

• RS-232 serial output (torque only).

• On-board shunt calibration and power switch.

• 9V Battery powered transmitter.

• Vehicle adapter plates with minimal centerline offset (no rim modifications).

• Custom wheel rims available to maintain tire centerline.

• Custom capacities and configurations available.
