SDI Introduces .. Miniature, On-Board, Transducer Amplifiers....

Lake Orion, MI - These miniature, on-board, transducer amplifers are capable of supplying excitation voltage, and amplifying millivolt signals from strain gage based transducers.

Models 90291 (Bi-Polar) and 90284 (Uni-Polar) can be mounted to the back shell of many standard connectors. They may also be mounted inside transducer housings. Uses include interfacing sensors with PC cards, A/D boards, standard panel meters, and other instrumentation that have their own zero and scaling capability.

Specifications:

90291 (Bi-Polar) 0 +/- 5 Vdc (Dimensions: 0.46 x 0.93 x 0.4 inches)
90284 (Uni-Polar) 2.5 Vdc +/- 2.5 Vdc (Dimensions: 0.46 x 0.60 x 0.4 inches)
Gain (Fixed) 4 to 1000 (resistor setable)
Zero offset (determined by sensor - No balance adjustment on board)
Gain drift with temperature (typical) <.002%/°F
Offset drift with temperature (typical) <.001%/°F
Operating temperature range -40°F to 185°F (-40°C to 85°C)
Excitation output voltage 2.5 Vdc
Minimum bridge impedance 350 Ohms
Operating voltage 5 Vdc
Bandwidth (depends on gain) >1 kHz for most gain settings
Quiescent current (not including transducer bridge) <2.5 mA
