Developments Inc. has recently created a
unique custom torque sensor design which
allows bearing manufacturers to resolve very low torque levels, while
still applying high radial loads to evaluate
their products.
Using a unique two load cell combination, this new sensor is capable of with-standing radial loads up to 10,000lbs, but still resolve torque levels down to 0.5in-lbs. Bearings requiring these stringent evaluations include roller, journal, and ball bearings and are used in many areas including the automotive and aerospace industries. Various torque ranges and adapter fixtures can be accommodated with our custom engineering capabilities. Please contact our factory for further information.
