SDI Introduces .. New, Larger Capacity, Rotating Torque Sensor...

Lake Orion, MI - Sensor Developments introduces the addition of new, higher capacity versions of it’s already popular 01224 series of rotating torque sensors. This compact, yet high capacity, strain gage based torque sensor measures torque between rotating devices. Formerly available in capacities of 20 in.oz. to 2,000 in.lbs., the 01224 is now available in 5,000, 10,000, 15,000 & 20,000 in.lbs. versions.

The benefits provided by the design of the 01224 rotary torque sensor family are reduced space requirements, low rotating inertia, field proven strain gage/slip ring technology, and high durability.

The 01224 can be ordered with an optional encoder, which measures R.P.M.
