Lake Orion, MI – Sensor Developments Inc. is pleased to announce a recent addition to our hand held pinch force sensor line. In addition to supporting the FMVSS-118 laboratory test procedures, we now support the requirements of the European Directive 2000/4/EC with our line of 10N/mm spring rates sensors. Obstacle distances of 25mm, 50mm, and 200mm can now be measured with this lower spring rate up to 150Newtons. The sensor is directly compatible with our PMAC or PTI instruments and features our Auto-ID recognition system.
