Facilities of Sensor Developments
Sensor Developments Inc. occupies a new 27,000 square foot building, designed and constructed specifically for the production of sensors and electronic systems. The facility is located approximately 2 miles off of I-75, North of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Equipment includes hydraulic presses with up to 300,000 pound capacity and torque frames capable of producing and controlling up to 250,000 in.-lbs. of torque. A heliarc welder, NC mill, lathe, welder, and assorted small machines are also on the premises. Virtually all equipment and processes are performed under computer control, and many specialized systems have been developed for this purpose.
All SDI transducers are produced using state-of-the-art microprocessor controlled temperature compensation and calibration equipment.
